  A very enjoyable store...by far the best I have been in. I find a lot of jewelry stores are quite pompous in how they treat customers that don't scream "money" but at Peoples it was an entirely different experience. I was helped almost immediately, shown through the process of owning a rather expensive piece of jewelry and done within half an hour.

  The fiance and I were so happy with the help we received at this Peoples. We came in and out a few times and settled on an engagement ring. We also applied for the Peoples credit card to assist with the purchase. There was a little hiccup in communications in the process of getting the card number, but everyone was very helpful in getting it resolved and even offered a solution for us to take the ring and continue with our engagement plans while we waited for the number :)

  Saw plain silver band with milgrain edge on website, went in and asked to see it. Was shown several very ornate diamond bands, and told they didn't have anything plainer. Husband found EXACTLY that ring further down the store. Apparently that was not silver (display clearly marked 'sterling silver', and that was NOT a milgrain edge (tell that to your web page). Also shocked that they do not have a ring-sizer there, they would have to send my ring away for several weeks to check the size! Only jeweler I have EVER visited who couldn't size a ring there and then. Bad customer service is one thing, lying to your potential customer in the hopes of a bigger sale is appalling.

  I went into the store to get a wedding band for my ring that was purchased at Peoples. I spoke to the assistant manager who suggested a custom band. I agreed to explore this option and waited 5 weeks to hear back from her after she contacted the custom ring maker, I called back she said she would look into it, waited another 3 weeks and went into the store. I spoke to the manager who was no more helpful. The manager told me I wasnt getting a custom wedding band for less then $5000.00 and was pushing peoples financing options on me. During this exchange I did not once feel heard, I felt judged for wanting to keep my wedding band under $5000.00. Awful customer service at the St Albert location, avoid going there. There were 3 staff surrounding me talking at me, offering no real options aside from financing a $5000.00+ ring.

  If you want bad customer service, ask for their Store Manager. I can't tell you how many times I was insulted in a period of 15 minutes. I left the store with my purchases only to return them a couple of days later. Keep up the fantastic work.
